The night out event is a community-based event that increases awareness about safety programs in local communities, such as drug prevention, neighborhood watch and other anti-crime efforts. The National Night Out is also an opportunity for the 49th Security Forces Squadron to demonstrate how they keep the base safe through defensive tactics and military working dog demonstrations.
