A long Austrian flintlock pistol,Anton Penzeneder in Vienna,circa 1720. Round smoothbore barrel in 17 mm calibre. At the breech a brass-filled barrel maker's mark "Coma"(from Madrid),brass-filled vent hole. Finely engraved lock with signature "Penzneter in Wien",richly pierced side plate. Walnut full stock with horn nose(the forestock with a professionally restored crack). Engraved brass furniture,the butt cap slightly damaged on the side. Escutcheon with a crowned coat of arms.
