A Prussian model 1735 dragoon's sword,for officers,ca. 1770 Damascus blade of lenticular cross-section,on the obverse side remnants of an eagle's mark. Typical brass bar hilt with remnants of gilding. Leather covered grip with brass wire winding. Large deeply-cut eagle's head pommel. Nicely made new scabbard with covered brass mountings. Length 110 cm. Unusual Prussian officer's sword. Cf.
