Free-range, organic and very rare Old Danish Piebald Landrace pigs at the organic farm and dairy, "Knuthenlund" at Stokkemarke on the island Lolland south of Sealand in Denmark on a cool and sunny early April spring day. The breed is an extremely rare old Danish breed that produces meat of a high quality, darker and more beef-like than the industrialised modern pig. The breed is alive today merely because of a few spearhead organic and quality farms such as Knuthenlund.
