The Hampton Roads Naval Museum proudly hosted a re-enlistment ceremony this afternoon aboard the USS Wisconsin (BB 64). HM2 Bernard Akoli, from the USS Gerald R. The Wisconsin is one of four Iowa-Class Battleships, and is moored permanently next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum as a museum ship. The Wisconsin is a popular venue for military ceremonies for commands in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area; and is available without cost through the museum for this purpose.
