One of the major organizers of the Holocaust Adolf Eichmann lived here with his family from 1939 to 1945 during World War II. The villa formerly owned by Czechoslovak industrialist Rudolf Fišer was built in the 1920s on the corner of Dělostřelecká and U laboratoře streets in Ořechovka quarter.
