Section 18. deposit: The Exposition will require a deposit before utility orgeneral service will be rendered. The deposit estimated by the Director ofWorks as sufficient to cover one months service from the utility to the con-sumer, shall be paid at the time the contract for service is made. The amountdeposited will be returned or credited to the account of the consumer at theexpiration of his contract, less such damage, if any, suffered by the Expositionby any breach by the consumer of his contract. All bills for service must be paid within ten days from the daterendered, otherwise service will be discontinued and the deposit, or so muchthereof as may be necessary, applied to the consumers debt to the Exposition,but this shall not be a waiver of any other claims of the Exposition against theconsumer.
