Demonstrator offering freedom fairy buns poses with tourists during 'Freedom to Protest' demonstration in Whitehall, London.

'Freedom to Protest' demonstrator dressed as suffragette with hamper and fairy buns wears a small placard around her neck 'The land of Free Speech?' Two tourists pose with her in Whitehall to be photographed. Late additions were made to the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 in an attempt to end the long-term protest in Parliament Square by peace activist Brian Haw. Partly through careless drafting they failed to do this, but made protest, however peaceful, within 1km of Parliament illegal without prior police hundred 'Freedom to Protest' demonstrators made their way around Whitehall through the designated area on Saturday Jan 12, 2008, towards the end of a consultation period on the future of SOCPA.
