From thence came to Oulart, a country village adjoining,when the republic attacked a ministers house for arms, and was deniedof, laid siege immediately to it, and killed him and all his forces—thosame day burned his house, and all the Orangemens houses in thatand all the adjoining parishes in that part of the country. The same day, a part of the army, to the amount of one hundredand four of infantry and two troops of cavalry, attacked the republicon Oulart-hill, when the military were repulsed with the loss of one. At three in the afternoon the same day, they laid siegeto Enniscorthy, when they were opposed by an army of seven hundredmen; then they were forced to set both ends of the town on fire, andthen took the town in the space of one hour, and then encamped on ahill near the town, called Vinegar-hill.
