Lt. Col. William Persinger, 130th Airlift Wing deputy Mission Support Group commander, has his rank removed and replaced by his sons Wes and Zac during a formal promotion ceremony held May 6, 2017. Persinger decided to join the West Virginia Air National Guard in order to serve alongside his son in 2009.
