It was opened in April 2011 and runs from the Dom Luis bridge to the waterfront. It is a ropeway system designed by Doppelmayr of Austria. The cost is 5 Euros one way and 8 Euros return. The trip takes about 5 minutes to cover the 562 meters length. It assists visitors travelling to and from the Port Wine quays and lodges.
