Prora Nazi era holiday camp, island of Ruegen, Germany


Prora was designed and built by the Nazis to house holidaymakers on the Baltic island of Rügen as part of the Nazi party's Kraft durc Freude "Strength Through Joy" holiday and entertainment programme. It was never completed and has been used for a variety of purposes over the years. The German government is still debating what to do with it. Much of it is now crumbling
