The fishing village Loutra at Crete's south coast has a very old history and turned into a touristic hotspot without road access. There is only a pathway for hikers under some fig trees to the next town. Das Fisscherdorf Loutro an der Südküste Kretas ist bei den Ruinen viel älterer Orte errichtet. Im 20. Jahrhundert hat Loutro sich zu einer Touristen-Hochburg ohne Straßen-Zugang verändert. Nur auf einem schmalen Pfad können Wanderer unter wenigen Feigenbäumen am Libyschen Meer entlang zum nächsten Ort laufen.
