This is the second of two buildings that make up the Berneray Youth hostel, run by the Gatcliff Trust and the Scottish Youth Hostels Association. It has two dormitories and the bathrooms. The other building behind has one dormitory and the kitchen/dining buildings are restored traditional blackhouses with peat and thatch roofs. Camping is allowed on the adjacent grassy area for a small fee which includes use of the hostel facilities.
