An artistic vision of the statue of Freddie Trueman that resides on the canal bank at Skipton Yorkshire
The Fred Trueman sculpture was funded by the Fred Trueman Appeal which was set up by Northern Rail and Craven District Council in 2007. It was made by sculptor Graham Ibbeson, who has also crafted statues of comedians Eric Morecambe, Les Dawson and Dickie Bird. A bronze statue was unveiled as a tribute to the England and Yorkshire cricket legend.
