Some of the Newtons claim their lineal defcent from Howell ap Gronw, Lord of Yllradtowln, an'o D'ni i loo, de- fccndcd from Rytherch ap Jeftln, Prince of Wales. Note, among thcfe three brethren, the pofl-eritle of the one remaines; of the other two, the one is vanlfhed, and the other gone out of the countrcy.
