A palm print formed by the sweat of an Al Dhafra Air Base service member is pressed into concrete while taking on “The Murph” challenge on Memorial Day, May 30, 2022 at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. The work out honors the life of Lt. Michael Murphy, a Navy SEAL who died serving in Afghanistan in 2005. Challengers can perform a “Full Murph” or opt for a “Half Murph.” Even though challengers began the work out at 0500, the temperature at ADAB was more than 85 degrees.
