Progress has been made in some direc-tions. During the administration of Mayor Low a verycomfortable dormitory was erected for the male em-ployes of the City Hospital in place of a woodenrookery which had formerly housed them. This dor-mitory provides a well-lighted and comfortable diningroom, a good sized room for reading, smoking, games,etc., a considerable number of individual rooms andtwo well lighted, well equipped MENS DORMITORY, ERECTED AT TIME OFCIVIL WAR.
