Cast iron mechanical bank in the shape of a bull dog on top of a rectangular base. To make a deposit, a coin is placed on the dog's nose; pulling the dog's tail causes the dog to toss the coin off his nose and then catch it in his mouth, sending the coin to the reservoir by the J and E Stevens Company circa 1880.
