Histology laboratory. Female researcher operates a microtome cutting device in an histology laboratory. Using forceps and a brush she removes wax cuttings into which is embedded a tissue sample. The white microtome enables the tissue sample to be cut very thinly. It is then placed on a glass slide, dyed, and later examined under a microscope.
