ALBANY, – New York Army National Guard Command Sgt. Maj. Frank Wicks, the Joint Force Headquarters senior enlisted advisor, welcomes home Spc. Nixon Castro here Jan. 8 at Albany International Airport. Nixon arrived with some 200 other Soldiers across the state from the 427th Brigade Support Battalion’s Headquarters Company and Company B following demobilization at Camp Shelby, Miss. The Soldiers served in Kuwait or Afghanistan as part of the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team’s overseas service in 2012. Army photo by Col. Richard Goldenberg (RELEASED).
