WOWO Radio Towers
These are the world famous WOWO radio towers located between Fort Wayne Indiana and Roanoke Indiana along 24W. On this overcast day, these three 600 foot towers reach into the low cloud cover. Steeped in history, from 1941 to 1995 WOWO was well-known, in both Indiana and areas to the east, as a clear-channel AM station, broadcasting at a power level of 50,000 watts. WOWO could be heard at nigh in 28 states.
