From Driftwood the route lies at a sharp grade up the course ofDriftwood Creek to Emporium Junction, a little less than a mile east of the town ofEmporium, county seat of Cameron County, and a progressive businessplace which grew up with the railroad. Emporium Junction to Erie West of Emporium, the Pennsylvania Systems line to Erie extendsfor many miles through one of the wilder sections of Pennsyl-vania, once the hunting grounds of the Six Nations.
