The Calibration Lab is a division of Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Department, which runs, calibrates and runs test on equipment for the embarked air wing and various department of the aircraft carrier. The USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) and Carrier Air Wing 17 (CVW 17) deployed June 7 and are operating in the Middle East region as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Units in the Kennedy Strike Group are working closely with Multi-National Corps-Iraq and Iraqi forces to bring stability to the sovereign government of Iraq.
