The more this variety has been cultivated and exhibited the more popular it has become until now it is classed as the queen among oranges, and is more widely grown than any other variety. The tree is a strong, rapid grower and a prolific bearer. The fruit is medium to large, with the characteristic navel at the blos- som end, juicy, possessing a fine flavor and so few seeds are ever discovered that it is termed as seedless.
