Maurice Jackson cut the ceremony cake during the Forces Afghanistan Veterans Day celebration. Thomson and Jackson are the airfield commander and senior enlisted advisor. Yambor is a Vietnam Veteran who currently works on the airfield as a civilian contractor; Thomson invited Yambor to be the celebration guest of honor.
