The animal is said to be from Santa Barbara Island. Epiphragmophora kellettii, Fbs., KellettsSnail. The shell consists of six whorls, spirerather low, umbilicus nearly closed. Shell smooth, color varying from whitish to brown, usuallymottled, with a dark ring around the center of thebody-whorl. Diameter about an inch.
