As a Cyber Defense Operations, 1D7, curriculum manager, Nolan develops and reviews training guides for 43,000 total force cyber Airmen. This past year, he was responsible for editing 1,800 learning objectives, updating 3,080 training tasks and assessing 114 qualification standards. Nolan’s leadership was critical to publication of an Air Force Job Qualification Standard in support of the Nuclear Enterprise. He laid the framework for the revamp in training of 30,000 personnel in the 1D7 community. Additionally, Nolan is an active member of the Wing Inspection Team, responsible for identifying eight changes and ensuring active shooter preparedness. Finally, he is always seeking knowledge or new skills to become a better leader and supporter of his teammates. Nolan recently completed a 32-hour professional development course for Ethical and Inclusive leadership and begins a Bachelor’s in Technical Management with an Information Technology Management focus this December.
