Delhi, India, satellite image. North is at top, water is blue and vegetation is green. The city is under cloud cover making it appear pink. The city is located in northern India. Most of the city lies west of the Yamuna river (also known as Jamuna). Shahdara is the urban area east of the river. New Delhi is an urban area, within the metropolis of Delhi and is the capital of India. Photographed on 22nd October 1999.
