Commanders, honorary commanders and members of the 309th Fighter Squadron “Ducks” sign a retiring F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft Sept. 6, 2022, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The F-16 will be flown to the 309th Aircraft Maintenance and Regeneration Group, or “Boneyard” by Lt. Col. Matthew “Fuse” Eldredge, 309th Fighter Squadron former commander, the next day. The divestment marks history for the aircraft, retired after many faithful years of duty to our nation.
