The seed sown in cold frame, hot bed, dwelling house, or in seed box, gives them an early start, ready to be planted in the open ground four to six weeks later. They w ill soon show bloom and continue until killed liy hard frosts. It can be sown in open ground, but is more safe to start in boxes, the seed generally comes better and more plants will be obtained. Set the plants S to 12 inches apart.
