Bell of Chersonesos in ancient Greek theatre from III century BC rebuilt by Romans to amphitheatre in II century CE with church from IV century in ruins of ancient Greek colony Khersones Tavriysky in Chersonesus in Sevestopol, Crimea, Ukraine. September 30th 2008, established by Greek Dorians from Heraclea Pontica in VI century BC. The city was ruled by Greek, Roman, Kievan Rus, Genoa and Byzantine. In 988 grand prince of Kievan Rus, Vladimir the Great, was baptized in Chersonesus and it was beginning of the Kievan Rus christianization.
