Secondary infection may occur and symptoms of pyaemiadevelo]). The masses which form upon the intestinal mucous membranemay lead to suppuration and perforation of the intestine. Metastasis toany organ may occur, with resulting local symptoms. The durationdepends upon the organs involved in metastases.
