Date 05/1945. VIRGINIA, USA: HAUNTING pictures and video show the abandoned WW2 US military base where nearly one and a half million personnel passed through on their way to the Western Front. The eerie images and vertigo inducing video show the dilapidated remains of Camp Patrick Henry in a forest in Warwick County, Virginia which could once host up to 35,000 men at one time when it acted as a troop staging ground. The shots show how the decommissioned base has been attacked by vandals with graffiti all over the buildings. Video from the point of view of a brave explorer shows him scaling one of the 50-foot watchtowers. Other snaps show the huge towers which remain standing and the view from the top of one of the structures. The footage was taken by a group of American urban explorers known as Bread Explores.
