At this time, when the press teems so abundantly with ephemeral literature, the thinking mind esperiences a need of more substantial aliment; of something which shall at the same time furnish not only enjoyment for the present, but for after thought; something on which the mind will delight to ponder in its communings with itself; something, from the perusal of which one can arise a wiser, if not a bet- ter man; and among their publications, they flatter themselves such books will be found. It is their aim to select such works, the intrinsic worth of which will cause them to be sought after by enlightened and discriminating minds, and as worthy of gracing the shelves of their libraries. Among their publications may be found the following, to which they would res- pectfully invite attention.
