The Lakeside Park vintage carousel in Port Dalhousie, Ontario, Canada, has been at this location since 1921. The horses and other animals were carved between 1898 and 1905. It is one of of only 9 hand carved carousels in Canada, and has 68 animals. Port Dalhousie, on Lake Ontario, was once home to a popular amusement park with many attractions including the carousel. People can still enjoy the carousel for only 5 cents a ride.
