Or rather, turn first to theIndex, read what is said there about how to use it, andthen look up the subject for yourself. If you learn to do this, you will be forming one ofthe very best habits you can have—I was going to say,the very best—the habit of Self-Reliance. For, withoutthis habit you really cant expect to amount to very muchwhen you grow up. Ask your papa or your mamma orany other grown-up if this isnt so.
