The Common Zebra sub-species froung throughout the Southern Cirucit of Tanzania is the Crawshay's Zebra. They are quite distinctive with very clean, bold stripe patterns and usually void of any shadow stripe. The reclassifictaion of the many sub-sprecies has lead to revision of many of these sub-species of wide equid ranges.
