Old MG Rover bodyshells sit on the production line waiting for staff that were fired on the spot in April 2005 when the vehicle plant closed down due to being in millions of pounds of debt. The vehicle factory in Longbridge, Birmingham, UK was then bought by the Chinese and mothballed for several years. This image, in 2007, shows how vehicles were left in various areas around the plant as they were back in 2005. The bodyshells have since been scrapped.
