Taipei, Taiwan - 22 August 2005; Looking down from the steps to the massive Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, here we see Taiwan's National Theatre and Concert Hall; these traditionally built and styled twinned performing arts venues are located in the grand Liberty Square in Zhongzheng District, Taipeii. Completed in 1987, the landmarks stand on the south and north sides of the square with the massive Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall behin us to the east.
