Pidcock’s son, Ronald, spoke during an ash-scattering ceremony in honor of his father, whose ashes were joined by his wife Bonnie’s ashes, which were spread above the waters of the USS Utah Memorial on Ford Island, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Pidcock was stationed aboard the USS Tangier (AV-8) during the 1941 Japanese attacks on Pearl Harbor.
