It is recognized as one of the only ornamental shrubs which may be classed as 'ever- blooming'; producing attractive double golden-yellow flowers like small rosettes in great profusion from early June until October; of strong, upright growth and clean habit, blooming equally as well in the shade as in the open sun, a qualHy lacking in most of our flowering shrubs. A dependably hardy variety of compact, spreading habit of growth with neat evergreen foliage and very attractive orange-red berries which are set off nicely against the dark foliage and which remain on the plant the entire winter.
