One-year-old Alondra Viveros, who suffers from endoftalmitis, a fungus infection in the eye, is held by her great-grandparents outside their home in the countryside in San Antonio Albarranes, Mexico state, September 25, 2009. Poor families nationwide who cannot afford their children's treatment use the San Judas Tadeo Foundation shelter for chronically ill children for room and board and to help them obtain needed medication.
