Engineers carrying out anechoic chamber testing in 2015 for the European Space Agency's ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO) module at Thales Alenia Space, Cannes, France. The TGO and Schiaparelli, the ExoMars Demonstrator Module (EDM) lander, were launched on 14 March 2016, to arrive at Mars in October 2016. TGO will enter orbit, searching for evidence of methane and other atmospheric gases that could be signatures of active biological or geological processes. TGO will also serve as a communications relay for the ExoMars rover that will be launched in 2018. Photographed on 5 March 2015.
