PHILIPPINE SEA (Feb. 17, 2022) Lance Cpl. Elijah Poland, from Clarkrange, Tenn., assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), closes rotor blades on an AH-1Z Cobra helicopter from the Marine Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron (VMM) 265 on the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20). Green Bay, part of Expeditionary Strike Group 7, along with the 31st MEU is operating in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
