This Melbourne colony was moved in 2003 from the Botanical Gardens where they had taken up residence, with results not beneficial for the gardens. They take off each dusk and head out to feed throughout the suburbs of Melbourne, returning at dawn. Yarra River, Kew, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
