The Constitutional Court of the Italian Republic (Corte costituzionale della Repubblica Italiana) is the highest court of Italy regarding the constitutional law. Customarily called Consulta because its sessions are held in Palazzo della Consulta, Rome. - The Palazzo della Consulta (17th century) is a late Baroque style and it’s situated across the Piazza del Quirinale from the Quirinal Palace, official residence of the President of the Italian Republic. The Palazzo della Consulta is among the Quirinal Hill government buildings in the city of Rome.
