Charcoal, crayons, or brush and ink may be used in the makingof these pictures, which may be drawn in black and white or in onecolour and black and white. The results are seldom good when thepupils are allowed to use many colours. Either orange, green, or red,however, used with l)lack, makes a pleasing combination. Touches ofcrayon colour may be added to a charcoal drawing to increase
