Electrical generator production. Engineer fitting electrical insulation to the end of the rotor of an electrical generator. When in operation, electromagnets on the rotor generate a magnetic field around it. As the rotor rotates, the magnetic field of the electromagnets rotates too. This induces an electric current in wires that lie in a barrel-like armature device (not seen here) that will surround the rotor.
