Messier 81, also known as Bode's Galaxy.
Messier 81, or Bode's Galaxy, is located about 12 million light years from our planet and is one of the most iconic spiral galaxies in the night sky. Also visible is Arp's Loop which is comprised of dust that is located above the Milky Way galaxy and therefore much closer to us.
